🐓 A Chicken-spiracy?

Big Chicken is paying up for (allegedly) throwing hooks and jabs at us for years…

🍗 We all took a beating by some of the biggest names in the chicken game…

Wait, that’s not the Tyson we are talking about…
Big Chicken is paying $181 million back to customers who purchased fresh or frozen raw chicken. Who qualifies as “Big Chicken”?

Here’s your list of settling defendants:
Fieldale, George’s, Mar-Jac, Peco, Pilgrim’s Pride and Tyson.

What Happened?
The plaintiffs alleged that Defendants (plus their co-conspirators) conspired to restrict the supply of, and fix, raise, and stabilize the price of chicken, violating federal and state antitrust laws.

What’s That Mean?
It means that if you qualify, you could be eligible to a share of the $181 million settlement! Check out the criteria below to see if you fit the bill.

Did I have to buy from 6 named companies?
In short: No. While the current settlements are only with the six named companies, the Class includes people who purchased products from multiple additional non-settling defendants and alleged co-conspirators. Members of the Class who do not exclude themselves may be eligible to participate in any additional settlements that arise from the additional defendants. There will be more news to come and of course we will keep you posted with the updates.

Reminder:
If you don’t qualify (like “I’m a vegan and don’t buy meat…”), don’t submit a claim. Remember, this is the legal system we’re dealing with after all. Don’t worry, we’ll hit you on the next one!
